Gary's passion for the automotive industry began at an early age, while working in his father's machine, engine, and hot rod shop in Lugoff, South Carolina. As an adult, Gary Arrowood decided to step away from the norm and opened A3 Auto and Restoration. First and foremost, Gary is a Christian, husband and father.  He is an honest man who loves the Lord. Gary has over 30 years of experience working in machine shops, fabricating, painting and custom modifications. He has a need for speed and has a passion for creating one-of-a-kind engines and bringing classic automobiles back to life.

A3 Auto and Restoration is rooted in a Biblical foundation: A3 stands for God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Gary's business is built on a team approach, with each and every member of the team holding specialized talents and abilities, which enables A3 to be a step above the competition. By using this team effort to design and fabricate, A3 is able to accomplish and manage nearly any task in the custom build-up or restoration process.

Gary is a designer and builder of custom vehicles, with a passion for restoring classics and hot rods. A former Deputy, Gary has transitioned from building classics and hot rods for friends and family to giving his time and talents to A3 Auto full time. Gary’s goal is to help you bring your designs to life. Gary and his talented crew have an array of talents and influences cultivated over 30 years of evolution, ranging from turnkey antique automobiles, classic car restorations, cutting-edge hot rods, muscle cars and speed projects completed to date. Gary and his crew pride themselves in the details of simple and elegant design, which makes A3 Auto and Restorations and their classics designs stand out.
